I've been a writer for the past 11 years.
First as a rock music journalist, then I went into fashion, beauty and lifestyle, and now advertising.
Previously, I was a senior copywriter/creative at TBWA Sydney. As the lead writer on the David Jones account, I concepted and worked across every medium: catalogues; TVC; OOH; radio; instore including visual merchandising, windows, hoarding, launches and events; internal comms; web content including trend videos; social; and I also guided the TOV for the current 'One Name: Endless Possibilities' brand positioning.
At TBWA I also gained considerable PR experience: my 'Pride In Diversity' campaign was shortlisted for a 2016 Cannes PR Lion; I worked with Eleven PR to launch Carousell into the Australian market; and won the Carnival account with FleishmanHillard PR.
I'm currently working freelance for advertising and creative agencies, and in my spare time devour films and art history.
