Makeup was pretty meh for me today at the shows. I guess it’s hard to live up to yesterday’s excitement. So today I thought I’d dedicate my post to hair accessories.
All of the girls at 3.1 Phillip Lim, no matter what their face shape, hairstyle or skintone, had these little red clips. With the orange wash of eyeshadow up to the brow, it makes the look very matchy-matchy, but still very cute!
Oscar de la Renta’s woman had strips of fabric braided into her, well, braid! They used yellow, violet, blue and white to match the rainbow of bold colours of his garments. It’s super easy to do, just plait your hair like usual but this time wrap the fabric around one of the three sections, et voila!
And at Proenza Schouler a couple of the girls had their hair coloured. Since seeing a Marc by Marc Jacobs ad in the Septmeber issue of Teen Vogue where the model had green strips running through her long brown hair I’ve been considering a bit of an update. But voilet (and aqua, the other colour used in the Proenza Schouler show) matches my wardrobe a tad more than lime-y green. Hmmmm… I’ll keep you posted!
