Writer
I have been writing professionally since 2006 when I started working for a rock music website straight out of University. Since then, I have freelanced for a number of publications, most notably The Australian, Russh Magazine, Vogue Australia, Vogue.com.au, and Mecca Cosmetica. Nowadays, I work as the online beauty and bridal writer for Vogue Australia, I write copy for beauty brands, and I also write about art and culture for other publications.
Beauty
Art history student turned hair & makeup artist and beauty writer. Currently represented by The Names Agency, I work on a variety of commercial, editorial and personal jobs where I create my ideal beauties. I discuss beauty on a weekly basis for Vogue.com.au and have recently consulted for a local skincare brand.
Fashion
With my first role in the industry ten years ago as a Fashion Assistant at ACP, I have spent a great deal of time in some very spectacular wardrobes. I have worked as a stylist’s lead assistant for Sydney Fashion Week, helped style shoots, and more recently have assisted on costume design for film.
Art
As an Art History & Theory graduate from the University of Sydney, I enjoy spending hours flicking through art books and visiting galleries. After a few years of attending life drawing classes (and not much improvement), I’ve decided to stick to photography and reading about my favourite periods including the baroque, rococo and bauhaus.
Music
An avid music fan, my obsession for good tunes took me to sub-edit of one of Australia’s foremost rock music websites. I interviewed artists, reviewed records and live performances, wrote news stories, edited articles and oversaw the gig guide.
